Once upon a time a flower stood out in the crowd,
It listened to everything that people said all around,
Silent as night and glistening its peddles in the sun,
The wind kissed it gently as its leaves merely hung.
Blooming with bright colors of magnificent light,
A rainbow of them mixed with its sight,
Strong it will stand through the storms and the rain,
Giving us hope with its roots in the land…
